The Bell In Ticehurst

About

This quirky pub in the heart of East Sussex, described by The Times as “somewhere Alice in Wonderland would feel right at home” is re-defining the world of pubs with rooms. There are seven comfortable bedrooms above the historic pub, which are quirky in the truest sense of the word. With sinfully comfortable hand-made mattresses, guests will delight in the attention to detail at every turn.

Venture through the willow arch to the garden within a garden to find three lodges and one unique Love Nest. The woven nest looks for all the world as if it is perched on top of a supporting trunk. The maze-like structure around the fire pit definitely calls for a second look. These are carefully curated spaces where guests are free to create their own memories. They are the ultimate escape from the day-to-day, where everyone is encouraged to become part of the story of The Bell.

Eating at The Bell in Ticehurst

The kitchen crew blend essentially English cuisine with vibrant influences of South America bringing to the table original dishes making the best of what the local countryside provides. Find out more about food and drink at The Bell in Ticehurst.
