Exploring Pevensey

Pevensey Bay has much to offer friends and families looking to relax and unwind in a quant seaside town and The Bay Hotel offers the highest style and comfort just an hour or so from London.

As well as it’s coastal charm, Pevensey is also home to the impressive ruins of a Roman Castle, which was most famously the place where the Norman Conquest of England began, when William the Conqueror landed there in 1066.

We are also ideally located for exploring 1066 country, with the historic towns of Hastings and Battle only 30 minutes away by car. Parking is available on site.
