Welcome to The Rye Get Down!
On the night, the music will start at 8pm and play till midnight. However, the bar will be open from 5pm, with Happy Hour Cocktails until 7pm. This is a party night, so no reserved seating, but the mezzanine lounge will be available for you to rest between dances! Tickets include a small glass of house wine, a bottle of house beer or a soft drink.
About the DJs:
Marky J has a love of Soul, Funk, Latin and Rare Groove, spending years attending Soul Weekenders in the UK and abroad. This month, he'll be joined by Angus Taylor, who's spun records at festivals and venues including Glastonbury, Moogfest (USA), Vinyl Thursdays (Jamaica), Overjam (Slovenia), The London International Ska Festival, London Jerk Fest, One Love Festival and so many more! He also hosts a weekly reggae and soulful music show, Rebel Hop, at www.vdubradio.com and a monthly all vinyl show, Sounds Of Freedom at www.realrootsradio.net.
