Discover the hidden medieval vaults of historic Winchelsea by joining one of their popular cellar tours.

All tours depart from the Town Well, Castle Street, TN36 4EL at 11am and last for up to 1.5 hours.  The charge is £10 per person (children free). Simply pay your guide in cash please on the day.

Numbers are limited so please book your place using the telephone number above or by emailing cellars@winchelsea.com.

​​​​​Please note that there is no step-free access to the cellars and so the tour is unforunately not suitable for people with mobility issues. The steps are old and uneven so iIt is recommended that you wear sensible footwear, bring a torch and listen to the safety instructions of your guide. No dogs or very small children are permitted.
