Pett Level

About

This is a moderate walk for 6.5 miles.

A very varied, moderate walk requiring appropriate footwear and clothing for walking across fields.  As well as enjoying coast and countryside we will stop at the Mary Stanhope Lifeboat station and have a picnic lunch stop in the ancient town of Winchelsea with its beautiful stained glass windows of the church were Spike Milligan is buried.

Parking is available at starting point.

There will be a strong likelihood of sheep and cattle so ONLY well behaved, well trained dogs on leads.

Toilets at beginning of walk and at lunch stop at Winchelsea.   Bring our own drink and lunch with you.
