About

The 3rd Catsfield Boat Race and Family Fun Day is fast approaching and we still have spaces for the Boat Race. We’re up to 17 Boats and would really like to get to 20 as we had 17 last year and 16 in 2016

The 1066 Pipers & Drummers will play during the races at The White Hart pub. There will be road closures in place between 11am – 2pm for The Green, Church Road and Church Lane with diversions around the village during this time. We do ask that no cars are parked on the roads during the races so please use the recreation ground.

In addition to the main Race we also have a Children’s Boat Race, which will be at the recreation ground at 3pm. Please contact Poppy at Catsfield PreSchool if you’d like to enter (we only have 50 Boats) - office@catsfieldpreschool.co.uk.

Following the Boat Race there is a fun-filled afternoon of live music (including Keren Keeler-Moore, Gerri & The Attrix and Astantine. We also have a gymnastics display, karate display, a bbq, licensed bar, giant assault course, bungee run, a Grand Draw (tickets on sale from Catsfield Village Store and on the day) and other activities from 1.30pm to 6pm.

If you’d like to take part in the Boat Race (still only £20 entry if registered before the 6th July) or to help on the day as we still need more Marshalls then please contact Scott Lavocah at scott@catsfieldtriangle.org. This year we are supporting the Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust and St Laurence Church.
