Baggymod presents... Beano On The Sea.
The first Beano On The Sea live music event is hitting Hastings Pier. A spectactular open air venue on the sea, like minded folk and best of all... quality sights and sounds. Come together and enjoy ten bands over three days where it's less 'X Factor' more 'feel good factor'. Taking you back to the 90's: a time when Radio 1 spoke your language, and when the charts mattered - featuring tune after tune, and you could watch decent bands on the TV.
Bands include Echobelly, Black Grape, Embrace, David Devant & His Spirit Wife, Hurricane #1, Space, Reef, Lightning Seeds, Northern Uproar, The Supernaturals, Dodgy, Cast, The Bluetones.
These bands are a roll call of artists who are still going strong and have years of festival experience with top ten hits and massive selling albums to call on. The beauty of this 'boutique' event is they're playing one after another on the same stage where the English Channel is the backdrop and sing-a-longs are the soundtrack. Forget the wellies and traipsing through fields of mud and huge crowds to see your favourite bands. This will be up close and personal in a unique setting, turned into an intimate musical playground.
Weekend ticket holders will also get exclusive entrance to club nights in and around Hastings. From celebrity DJ sets to performances from up and coming bands, the festival wristband includes it all.
The venue has a limited capacity and as such we are offering weekend tickets first. Day tickets may
be released at a later date but this is not guaranteed.
Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over.
There are 8 free aftershows for ticketholders featuring 11 young bands, 4 legends, 2 tribute bands and 1 Magic Mod PLUS 1 charity fundraiser aftershow for Mind.
