About

Battle Scarecrow Festival 2019, organised by Battle Festival of Arts & Music, is a trailer to the main event which takes place throughout October.

The theme is 'Showtime', the world of theatre and musicals, and about 30 characters are parading around Battle until Sunday 4th August. You can see them at St Mary's Churchyard, various shops, Abbey Green, The Almonry Garden and The Diamond Jubilee Garden near to the Ambulance Station. Trail maps and voting slips can be picked up at Crafty Norman, Battle Town Council and Battle Museum, as well as leaflet stands around the town. The winners will be announced on Battle Abbey Green at 3pm on Friday 2 August.
