Meet at 9.30am at the Burwash car park

Enjoy views of The High Weald, beautiful 12th century village of Burwash.  See Bateman's House (home of Rudyard Kipling) and hear stories about iron-making in Sussex.

Last Day of the Pilgrimage to Hastings Castle - 2 miles

Meet at 11am at St Michaels Place, White Rock

There are 218 steps up to the West Hill that participants need to negotiate.  Medieval dress is encouraged not not compulsory.  Free entry to Hastings Castle for all participants on the walk, the Lord's Prayer will be said in Anglo-Saxon and a picnic (weather permitting).  Please bring your own food and drink.
