Enjoy afternoon tea with Lady Rebecca in historic Hastings.  Join Lady Rebecca as she guides you through this fun and quintessentially British experience.

What you’ll learn:   

A social history of the famous Afternoon Tea Ceremony

The rules and behaviour of the Victorian tea table

How to prepare the perfect cup of tea

How to blend your own tea

Superstitions around the tea table

How to read tea leaves and tell the future


All participants are treated to:

A traditional cream tea and a selection of tea tastings

Tea is served on vintage place settings and the afternoon ends with a Victorian tea dance!


Also available for younger participants:

A Victorian dress up box for participants to wear and enjoy

Victorian parlour games for ‘one’s’ amusement.

Group bookings of 30 – 120 take place in several venues across Hastings. Smaller groups can also be accommodated.
