Cellar door at Oxney Organic Vineyard in Beckley, near Rye, East Sussex

About

Oxney Organic Estate is the UK’s largest organic vineyard and make award-winning still and sparkling wines. The winery is located in an old picturesque oast in the middle of the vineyard. Accommodation is available in a number of converted barns, shepherd’s huts and a gorgeous cottage next to the vineyard. Oxney runs tours every Saturday between May and September (book online).

The vineyard is 17 meters above sea level and six miles from the English Channel and from a south-west slope stretches out towards a wood with giant oak trees, creating a warm and protected microclimate. We grow pinot noir, pinot meunier, chardonnay and seyval blanc vines to make award-winning English still and sparkling wines.
