WELCOME TO TIBBS

Situated overlooking the picturesque Tillingham Valley with views overlooking traditional hop gardens and just 5 minutes from Rye, our café serves well cooked farm to fork food increasingly foraged, grown and reared from the farm.

We are farmers at the core. One of a diminishing number of hop growers in the country we also grow an ever expanding range of Summer Pick Your Own fruits and run a native flock of Romney sheep. Extensively free range hens, woodland pigs and Christmas trees also feature.

We've been running our PYO fruit farm for over 40 years and boast one of the largest ranges of PYO fruit collections in the South East.

From strawberries and raspberries to Tummelberry, Greengage and six varieties of Gooseberry.

We welcome well behaved dogs on leads to both wander around the farm and enjoy the ambience inside our cosy laidback café.

Guided farm tour with Phil

Our next farm tour is scheduled for Sunday 26th May at 11am. Each walk is entirely unique and takes you across new areas of the farm, explaining what is going on during that particular season. Phil will meet you outside the cafe for a prompt 11am start.

All are welcome, it’s entirely free and you don’t need to book. Clean and appropriate footwear is essential*.

*we ask that footwear is clean because hops are particularly prone to disease from outside contaminants.
