Rust + Stardust
The Cackle Street Cats
A rhyming fable from Rust & Stardust, featuring spellbinding songs, delightful dances, colourful costumes, and adorable cat puppets who make potions and fall in love!
Shadowshanks and Pumpkinpaws are the very best of friends, but their owners can't stand each other, even though they haven't spoken in years.
With musical mayhem, mischievous misunderstandings and of course, a sprinkle of magic, the Cackle Street Cats try to reconcile Persephone and Araminta before the Midsummer Festival - with some unintended, and hilarious, results!

Russ will be reading extracts from his new book:
“WHERE THE FOLK”
followed by a Q & A session
In 'Where the Folk', Russ visits locations all over Wales that are associated with Welsh folklore. Along the way, he meets local experts and delves into the origins of the tales that have had the biggest impact on Welsh culture.
Russ Williams was raised in the predominantly Welsh-speaking town of Caernarfon in North Wales.
He now resides in Cardiff, where he continues to write. He published his first short story via Roath Writers' annual anthology in 2015. He has since become an indie author, publishing two books (Free House and The Earth’s Kidneys) in 2016. He also has two active blogs, Brawd Autistico and Where the Folk.
His short piece 'When Hats are Life' appears in Helen Bucke’s Bearing Untold Stories: Life on (and off) the Autism Spectrum. Where the Folk is his first traditionally published book.

Recipes & stories
The Story collectors
Have you ever stopped to think about the stories behind your family's favourite dishes? Those treasured recipes handed down through generations are more than just instructions for a delicious meal, they're also a window into your family's history and traditions.
We're excited to announce that this year, we're collecting your recipes and the stories behind them. Whether it's a well-loved family favorite or a new creation with a unique story, we want to hear about it! Don't forget to include a picture - we'd love to see a photo or a drawing of your culinary masterpiece.
Drop off your recipe and its story at one of our story collectors. We're planning to read some of these stories during the festival and who knows, we might even cook up some of the recipes too! And if we collect enough, we'll compile them into a book.
So why not take a moment to share your recipe and its story with a friend or family member? We can't wait to hear from you!
