Our bespoke eco cabins make the perfect hideaway for solo travellers and couples. Whether you’re looking for a writer’s retreat, a walking holiday or just a comfortable place to rest, read, and reinvigorate, this is a special place to stay.
Inside, each cabin is completely unique, inspired by the famous (and not so famous) history of this place and the characters who’ve called it home, from 1066 and beyond. We hope the treasures you find within inspire you to explore the area more - starting of course with Battle Abbey and the historic town itself, which is within walking distance along the 1066 Country Walk.
Our Story
Our beautifully-crafted eco cabins have been built to blend into the timeless landscape of the High Weald AONB - and connect you with it. From the deck for watching birds fly over the meadow to the stargazing windows for views of our magical dark skies.
No one seems to know how the farm got its name, but it must have something to do with the dazzling dark skies in this corner of the High Weald AONB. It’s the reason the cabins have stargazing windows above the beds.
