What a wonderful place to stay, a real home from home with all the comforts we could have wished for.  You've thought of everything Judith to make it special.  We've thoroughly enjoyed out stay visiting old haunts and friends.  Thank you so much for helping us with the railways tickets.  Loved watching the horses and ponies.

Well Judith, as Rudyard Kipling said 'England is a wonderful land.  It is the most marvellous of all foreign countries that we have ever been in!' and so it was from when you gave us such a warm welcome, upon arrival, and the enjoyment later of our luxury shepherds hut.  Most memorable and restful.
Many many thanks, Susan & Derek (& especially Dolly!)

So glad we found you in Landscape Magazine and what a find!  Forget-me-not Shepherd's hut, is wonderful, Judith, you have thought of everything.  As others have said the breakfast is much appreciated.  We love the area and enjoyed Great Dixter and Sissinghurst.  We will explore Rye and Rye Harbour on the way home.  Thank you so much - it has been a delightful break.  We will be back!

From all the previous happy visitors, you know 'Forget-me-not Hut' is "brill" - now we do too! Thank you.
Fabourite garden - Great Dixter - right time of year for the borders.
Favourite meal out - Salehurst Halt - fab Mezze.
Would love to think we'll be here again.
Thank you for a great "venue".

Pristine and immaculate, 'Forget-me-not Hut' has been a delight.  Tastefully furnished and well thought through - thank you.. We have been so active exploring all this glorious part of the UK has to offer.  We hope to visit again, especially as we are now members of Oastbrook Wine Club.  Their vineyard tour I can thoroughly recommend.  Enjoyed The Castle Pub and The White Dog.  Particular highlight was Montelbano Italian Restaurant in Tenterden.

Our mini break to 'Forget-me-not Hut' certainly won't be forgotten.  We have completely wound down, feel chilled and energised for our return home.  The provisions provided were very generous.  The hut is spotless.  Judith met us on arrival which was lovely to see our 'host'...   I am already recommending the hut to others.

We have had a great time in this lovely shepherd's hut. Thank you Judith for providing such a little gem - spotlessly clean, all mod cons, supplies and a very comfortable bed with the sound of birdsong and sheep all around us.  It was so nice to eat locally and just relax.  We would have walked more but ran out of time!  It's fantastic to have all the maps and walking guides provided - thank you Bertie!!

We very much enjoyed out stay in 'Forget-me-not Hut'.  It is well-equipped and spotless.  Such a pity about the wet weather preventing us from doing so much.  Thank you for our generous provisions, very much appreciated.  We are planning to visit again.
Thank you for everything Judith.

Dear Judith - wow!  We have so enjoyed our 5 night stay and wish we could stay longer.  Most comments in here say it's a special place, we would completely agree.  You must be so proud to know you have and will continue to provide(d) a fabulously comfortable 'home from home' experience to so many couples from many counties.  Everything that was needed was here and the provisions were plentiful.  Weather awful but Forget-me-not Hut fantastic - loved it and will be back for sure.  Lyn & Albi (Suffolk)

I have always wanted to stay in a shepherd's hut and my extensive research resulted in finding one that exceeded my expectations!  So beautifully and tastefully decorated and furnished, with everything thought out!  Such kind provisions too, especially the bubbly to celebrate our anniversary!  We have been reluctant to venture too far and miss enjoying the space!  Thank you for your warm welcome too.

Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing stay in your beautiful shepherd's hut.  A perfect base for a nostalgia trip (born in Heathfield; grew up in Tunbridge Wells) around my childhood haunts in celebration of my 70th birthday.  And many thanks for the celebratory fizz and chocs!  Hut wonderfully appointed, with everything we might need.  Thanks for the generous breakfast supplies that set us up for the day.  Enjoyed our stay very much and will hopefully come again.
All the best, Vicki & Kevin (Scotland)

Superb, luxury hut...exceptional quality and attention to detail in every respect.  Very comfortable, fresh & clean, and with generous provisions (great range - thank you!)  Very tastefully done & with mod cons.  Appreciate the conscientious approach to everything, including safety and the lovely 'touches' like the pretty, common-sense shed, in keeping with the 'ambience' of the hut, to house wet weather gear and, the useful labelling & visitor attraction information (best ever).  Ideal location.  Prime, quiet rural setting, well-linked for retreating to quickly from busy days out enjoying a vast range of activities... and not too far from country pubs serving good food, should you choose to eat out.  Well-equipped for eating in.  Had to drag ourselves away... thoroughly enjoyed... though there was far too much to do in our 6-night stay... so we have a great excuse to come back!  What a gem of a find!  It made for a perfect holiday.
Be proud... you excel.
Thank you.
Best wishes, Jeremy & Anne (Cheshire)

The Shepherd's Hut exceeded all our expectations.  Ideal situation for relaxing and enjoying peace and quiet, or for visiting the many local attractions.  Thank you Judith for such a comfortable stay; the provisions were much appreciated.  Mia thanks you for hers as well, although she was sorry not to make Bertie's acquaintance - perhaps next time.  Looking forward to another visit.

A wonderful little shepherd's hut, very thoughtfully done with everything we could need.  The treats for our dog Hetty were a wonderful touch and she loved them.  Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.  Thank you.

The first shepherd's hut I saw was on the Sussex Downs, 80 or so years ago, with my mother and sister.  The shepherd sending his flock of Southdowns, gave us plums.  My sister and I always wanted a beach hut, so staying in Forget-me-not Hut has realized a fantasy.  Gardens I have visited are still rich with flowers, the railway, Bodiam Castle, The Pilot at Dungeness (local lamb!) RSPB Reserve, seeing the sea from the Relais at Cooden Beach where I lived my first 5 years, are tastes of this lovely locality.  Thank you, Judith, for creating such a pretty hut and providing everything for comfort and sustenance.  A week of perfect weather, a real bonus 19-23C.

We are visiting S E England from just over the border in Scotland to see gardens amongst other locations.  This hut was ideal for Sissinghurst and Great Dixter.  Bateman's tomorrow en route to Nymans near Gatwick.  Westonbirt Arboretum near Chippenham will be the last.  Excellent stay, very good food for breakfast.  The radio tuned to R4 was very welcome!!

It was so good to come back, as we so enjoyed our stay in June.  It has been another special time for us.  The area is beautiful, even more so with the Autumn colours.  Weather was way better than forecast so we were able to enjoy Bodiam, Batemans and Rye Harbour.  Thank you for all the provisions.  We enjoyed seeing your new venture 'The Nest' - stunning.  We will be back again!
