St Clements is a small restaurant focussed on serving locally sourced, seasonal produce, with a special emphasis on the local fishing fleet’s daily catch. Produce is sourced from traditional butchers, rare-breed farms, non-intensive dairies, local farms, fishermen & grocers to name but a few. Nothing is over embellished, including the minimal restaurant interior, with the intention of maintaining a relaxed, informal atmosphere in which the standard of food can really take centre stage. Over the course of the restaurant’s eight year history formal recognition of the hard work it takes to maintain such a venture has come in the form of accolades from The Michelin Guide, Hardens Guide, The Guardian, The Telegraph and in 52 Weekends By The Sea (as championed by Rick Stein) along with testimonials from countless frequently returning customers. Daily offerings include an a la carte menu and various set menu options including lunch from £8.50, two course evening meals from £18.50 and a two course traditional Sunday lunch from £20.
