About

Night Sky Photography
A one day adult course teaching practical aspects of night sky photography through lectures and demonstrations. You do not need to bring cameras, tripods or telescopes just listen and learn and take away all the essential information you will need to start you on your fascinating journey into night sky photography. Image courtesy of John Fox. Spring and Autumn dates are available.

Aimed at beginners in night sky photography but assumes competence with your own camera equipment. The morning session will teach the basics of imaging the night sky and the Milky Way, followed by an introduction to using a portable tracker to get even better night sky images.

The course includes a hot drink but does not include food. After lunch the afternoon session starts with a fascinating session on time lapse night sky photography, followed by how to image the moon and shooting by moonlight.

Delegates will be able to view a portable tracker and John's personal camera equipment that he uses to take most of his astro images.

Booking for the spring and autumn courses now available.
