Autumn in 1066 Country

With Bonfire Night drawing ever closer it's time to get ready for the many exciting fireworks displays that are taking place throughout 1066 this year.

Autumn starts in September, runs through to December and it's when the nights start drawing in, the leaves fall from the trees and summer is just a distant memory.

It is a particularly colourful time of year, as leaves turn from green through to yellow and brown.  Why not take a nature walk - there's nothing like kicking your way through a pile of fallen leaves!

This guide to autumn in 1066 Country will tell you all you need to know about the season of ghosts and gunpowder, but don't forget to check our events page for all the details of autumn events.
