The Electric Forest returns to Bedgebury National Pinetum and this autumn with another spectacular illuminated trail for visitors to enjoy from Saturday 22 – Sunday 30 October, 6.30-9pm.

Building on the popularity of last year’s event, the Culture Creative team - working in partnership with the Forestry Commission – has designed a new 1.5km route through the woodland.

Starting once again at the Visitor Centre the planned trail will explore the forest encouraging visitors to discover installations that play on all the senses.  Interactive art installations and story tellers will harmonise with the spectacular woodland illuminations that will be sprinkled throughout the route.

The event, which is running throughout the half term holiday, has been designed to appeal very much to both adults and children.

Zoe Bottrell, director of Culture Creative, said: “Our aim, once again with The Electric Forest, is to provide a family friendly experience that is different to main stream events available at this time of year.  We’re aiming to create a real visual impact and a sense of spectacle whilst remaining sympathetic to the landscape and environment of the forest at night,”

Tickets to the Electric Forest event is priced at £15.50 per adult and £10 for concessions and £41.00 family ticket (all fully inclusive of parking, booking fees will apply.)  Tickets for Bedgebury are available now on site, online at The Electric Forest or via the Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680 400.
