The Carnival procession starts at 6pm.

Entrants assemble at Rock a Nore.  The Carnival starts at the bottom of All Saints Street and proceeds onto the seafront (on the seaward side) goes round the fountain and then returns back along the seafront (on the landward side), turning left into the High Street, continuing up the High Street, then across The Bourne and down All Saints Street.

Important notice about glass:

Every year large quantities of broken glass are left scattered across the roads and pavements following the Carnival procession and pose a risk of serious injury.  This year we have provided special bins for glass recycling - we would advise you not to bring glass to the event, but if you do, please dispose of it in the bins.
