Camber Beach Extreme Sports

Extreme sports have become very popular at Camber, there is an area set aside at Broomhill Sands (a short distance to the east of the village) for extreme sports including wind surfing, kite surfing, kite boarding and kite buggying

If you are looking for a thrill why not book a powerboat or rib charter along the Sussex Coast with Full Throttle Boat Charters who are based at Rye Harbour.

Why not have a go at kite surfing or kiteboarding with lessons and courses from the professionals at the Kite Surf Centre

Horse Riding

It is a fact that more people use Camber Sands during the summer season, i.e. between Easter and the end of September, there is a greater risk of horses causing danger or annoyance to persons using the Sands. Therefore, horse riders are only permitted to ride at certain hours, i.e. before 8.30am or after 7:30pm between Easter and mid October. It is also always best to choose the best tide, i.e. Low tide and avoid weekends where possible.

Please use the Tide Times
