Battle Abbey Visitor Experience

Following a major £2.6 million investment, this exciting interactive exhibition "1066: The Battle for England" allows you to get hands-on with the past as you feel the weight of a warrior's shield and chain mail.  Visitors can experience history like never before with fun and informative computer games and then immerse themselves in the Battle of Hastings itself in the new 40-seater auditorium showing a dramatic film with the latest in computer generated images.  There's also a brand new café where you can rest after your exhausting but thrilling odyssey through the most exhilarating chapter in English history!
