Rye Maritime Festival

About

Head down to Strand Quay for a mixture of maritime exhibitions, demonstrations and live entertainment, all in celebration of Rye’s nautical heritage.

Attractions will include the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, RNLI, Sea Cadets, Environment Agency, children’s entertainment, plus local fish cooked on site, beer tent and non-stop live music. This is a free event for all the family.

Boats of all types will be moored on the Strand dressed and decorated especially for the occasion. The festival attracts visitors from other ports around the coast and even France and the Netherlands.
