Coldharbour is set in 60 acres of farmland with fantastic views over the Rother Valley towards the sea.
This award-winning farmhouse, Coldharbour Cottage, originally built in 1764, has been beautifully renovated and retains its original characteristics. Think oak beams, a baker’s oven and an inglenook fireplace. The garden room makes this an ideal place to relax, enjoy the view and explore the countryside. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people and includes ensuite facilities.
In 2021 Coldharbour opened its amazing Log Cabin and Shepherd’s Hut for guests. The spacious cabin sleeps 6 and has a veranda with comfy chairs to sit and admire the wonderful views. It even boasts its own hot tub. The Shepherd’s Hut offers the ultimate in luxury for two, if you’re looking for a cosy, relaxing stay. It’s situated in the farm orchard surrounded by cherry and apple trees. You’re spoilt for choice.
Coldharbour is in the perfect spot to explore Rye, Camber Sands and the High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Find nature right on your doorstep. Ask your hosts for local walking routes, following the footsteps of nineteenth-century farmers and smugglers.
