Stone Cross Windmill was built in 1875/6 for Samuel Dallaway and fully restored in 2000. It produces wholemeal flour, which is on sale in the cafe. The cafe serves refreshments, cakes, and has an accessible toilet.
In the Roundel there are displays of the windmill’s history including its role in WW2.
The windmill is open from April to the end of September on the 1st Sunday of every month from 12 to 4pm, plus special days or by appointment.
